Mango sprout salad with spirulina & dulse

🕒 Preparation time: approx. 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 handful of leafy salad (e.g. Lollo Bionda, oak leaf or similar)
  • ½ handful of sprouts (e.g. alfalfa, radish or mung beans)
  • ½ handful of arugula
  • 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ mango, diced
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp spirulina powder
  • ½ tsp dulse powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: edible flowers for decoration (e.g. nasturtiums, violets)

preparation

  1. Wash and shake dry the lettuce, arugula, and sprouts.
  2. Halve the cherry tomatoes, peel and dice the mango.
  3. Arrange everything in a bowl or on a large plate.
  4. Mix lemon juice with olive oil, salt and pepper and drizzle over the salad.
  5. Sprinkle with spirulina and dulse powder.
  6. Garnish with edible flowers and serve fresh.

💡 Tip: For more crunch, you can add nuts or toasted sesame seeds to the salad. Also perfect as a light lunch or appetizer.
