A colorful, nutrient-rich salad variation with fruity mango, crunchy sprouts and superfood topping!
Mango sprout salad with spirulina & dulse
🕒 Preparation time: approx. 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 handful of leafy salad (e.g. Lollo Bionda, oak leaf or similar)
- ½ handful of sprouts (e.g. alfalfa, radish or mung beans)
- ½ handful of arugula
- 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
- ½ mango, diced
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp spirulina powder
- ½ tsp dulse powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: edible flowers for decoration (e.g. nasturtiums, violets)
preparation
- Wash and shake dry the lettuce, arugula, and sprouts.
- Halve the cherry tomatoes, peel and dice the mango.
- Arrange everything in a bowl or on a large plate.
- Mix lemon juice with olive oil, salt and pepper and drizzle over the salad.
- Sprinkle with spirulina and dulse powder.
- Garnish with edible flowers and serve fresh.
💡 Tip: For more crunch, you can add nuts or toasted sesame seeds to the salad. Also perfect as a light lunch or appetizer.
