Savory Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 100g white beans
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 40g dried tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp lentil protein or other protein powder
  • 1 sprig of parsley
  • Spices: salt, pepper, paprika & turmeric
  • Spirulina

Toppings

  • Sesame or other seeds

Instructions

  1. Finely grind the oat flakes in a blender and mix with the remaining dry ingredients (lentil protein, spices, spirulina, ground almonds).
  2. Blend the dried tomatoes and white beans together with the parsley in a separate container using a hand blender until smooth.
  3. Combine both masses, knead them together and form into small balls.
  4. Roll the balls in sesame seeds or other seeds.

Tip

The savory energy balls taste especially delicious with a slice of baguette and a little olive oil.
