Vegan Spirulina Spice Cookies

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Baking: 10 min

Ingredients

  • 220 ml vegetable oil (rapeseed or coconut oil)
  • 3 tablespoons maple or agave syrup
  • 1 banana
  • 10 g spirulina powder
  • 1 packet of Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp chai spices
  • 150 g spelt flour
  • 75 g ground almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C.
  2. Put vegetable oil and vanilla sugar into a bowl and mix with a hand mixer or mixer.
  3. Add maple syrup and ground almonds and mix again.
  4. Mash the banana with a fork, put it in the bowl and mix.
  5. Mix spelt flour with baking powder and chai spices, add to the mixture and stir well.
  6. Add spirulina powder and mix in.
  7. Roll out the dough, cut out cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  8. Bake for approximately 10 minutes on the middle rack.
  9. While still warm, decorate with spirulina powder or flakes as desired.

Tip

Instead of spirulina and chai spices, 2 tablespoons of Spiral Flow drink powder can also be used.
