Ingredients
- 300 g chickpeas (cooked and drained)
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 1 lemon (squeezed)
- 2 tablespoons of spirulina powder or 100 g of fresh spirulina
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- olive oil
Instructions
- Place the drained chickpeas in the bowl of the blender and puree with some of the cooking juice.
- Add tahini, lemon juice, salt, garlic, cumin, and spirulina and mix again. Gradually incorporate the olive oil until a smooth, creamy texture is achieved.
- Enjoy with fresh bread, crackers, or as a side dish to raw vegetables.
Tip
Hummus can be prepared with spirulina powder, but it tastes even more intense with fresh spirulina.
