Ingredients
- 4 pears
- Juice of one squeezed lemon
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tbsp chopped pistachios
- 6 pine nuts (for the eyes)
- 70 g birch sugar (xylitol)
- 2 tsp spirulina powder
- 30 ml water
- A little grated tonka bean or vanilla
Instructions
- Peel the pears and place them in a baking dish.
- Mix lemon juice and maple syrup and pour over the pears.
- Bake at 180 °C fan-forced for 10–15 minutes (depending on the ripeness of the pears).
- Pulverize birch sugar in a mixer and mix with spirulina powder, water and tonka bean grated/vanilla to make a glaze.
- Brush the baked pears with the glaze.
- Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the bottom third of the pears.
- Use pine nuts for the ghost eyes.
