Ingredients
- 100g carrots
- 250g pitted dates
- 50 g cashew nuts or other nuts
- 30 g desiccated coconut
- ½ lemon juice
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp nut butter
- 1 tbsp protein powder
- 1 tbsp spirulina
Topping
- desiccated coconut
- Spirulina flakes
Instructions
- Finely blend the nuts, carrots and dates separately in a blender (with a high-performance blender all ingredients can be blended at the same time).
- Then mix the blended ingredients again in the blender along with the cinnamon, desiccated coconut, nut butter, protein powder and spirulina.
- Form the mixture into small balls and roll them in a mixture of desiccated coconut and spirulina flakes.
- The healthy energy balls are ready.
