Spirulina Energy Balls

Spirulina Energy Balls

Cooking utensils

  • High-performance blender (optional)

Ingredients

  • 100g carrots
  • 250g pitted dates
  • 50 g cashew nuts or other nuts
  • 30 g desiccated coconut
  • ½ lemon juice
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp nut butter
  • 1 tbsp protein powder
  • 1 tbsp spirulina

Topping

  • desiccated coconut
  • Spirulina flakes

Instructions

  1. Finely blend the nuts, carrots and dates separately in a blender (with a high-performance blender all ingredients can be blended at the same time).
  2. Then mix the blended ingredients again in the blender along with the cinnamon, desiccated coconut, nut butter, protein powder and spirulina.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls and roll them in a mixture of desiccated coconut and spirulina flakes.
  4. The healthy energy balls are ready.
